During a counselling session, you will have the opportunity to talk openly about the issues you’re facing. The counsellor will listen, ask questions, and work with you to develop strategies for overcoming your challenges. Sessions are confidential, and the counsellor will provide a safe, non-judgmental space for you to explore your feelings and thoughts.
The length of therapy depends on your goals and the nature of the issues you’re addressing. Some people find relief after a few sessions, while others may benefit from ongoing therapy. I will work with you to develop a plan that suits your needs and preferences.
After starting therapy, many clients begin to notice changes in their thinking, behavior, and emotional responses. Healing takes time, and the process is different for everyone. You might feel a bit challenged or uncomfortable at times as you explore difficult emotions, but progress is often gradual. As your counselor I will support you throughout the process.
